Food for Dogs
September 30, 2007 2:56 pm DogsWhen most dogs eat food off the floor their owners think its great that they no longer have to vacuum. But what people don’t know is that there is a chance that the food their dog is eating could make is seriously sick.
Lots of the common foods people eat are dangerous to dogs if they get eaten. Some of the foods are Chocolate, Coffee or Cocoa, Onions, Mushrooms, Raw Meat, Artificial Sweeteners, Grapes, Raisins, Broccoli, Avocado, Coffee, Salt, Yeast Dough, and products sweetened with xylitol. All of these foods are dangerous to any dog.
Another is Corn on the Cob, which can clog a dog’s intestines. People will hopefully read this article and others like it and take better consideration into what they let their dogs eat and how nice it really is to put their dogs life in danger instead of vacuum.
Some healthier foods that people eat for dogs are good for them too. Foods such as apples and carrots are great for dogs and most dogs like them. Others like slightly freezer burnt chicken is good if is chopped into smaller pieces and fully cooked . We did this for Emma within the second week we had her and she loved it a LOT. Things such as Livers and eggs are good at small quantity’s. But if you want good healthy treats for your dog, the best way to go is quality treats from the store from trusted company’s.
I am now working on putting up a recipe section for the recipes for treats and food you can make homemade for you pets.
